11 Mins Brisk Walking Can Reduce Risk Of Early Death By 25%, Says Study

It is difficult to stay active in busy life, but 11 minutes of brisk walking can reduce the risk of death. In a study, a person has been advised a routine of at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity throughout the week. According to experts, by doing this, the risk of dying early can be reduced by 25 per cent.

Cambridge University has found that if you adopt this routine of physical activity even for half of it i.e. 75 minutes, then the risk of heart diseases, stroke and cancer reduces significantly. In the research, data was extracted from 30 million people who do at least 75 minutes of moderate intensity activity such as cycling, hiking and dancing in a week, and the risk of early death was found to be reduced by 23 per cent.

Dr Soren Braze of Cambridge University said that it is necessary to exercise or stay active and it is better to adopt this method than to do nothing. Dr Soren says that if you adopt the method of Brisk Walking for 75 minutes, not 150 in a week, then many diseases can stay away from you. In the report, more emphasis has been laid on following the routine of aerobics throughout the week.

The study found that two out of three people did less than 150 minutes of physical activity per week, while only 1 out of 10 people did more than 300 minutes of physical activity per week. It was also observed in the study that by doing more than 150 minutes of physical activity every week, the risk of any disease or early death can be reduced.

The study found that at least 150 minutes of moderate-level physical activity per week could prevent nearly one in six early deaths. That is, physical activity is directly related to our better health. In such a situation, it is necessary that a person must do at least 150 minutes of workout every week.
