How Can You Maintain Your Peace Of Mind When Life Is Stressful?

Life is a precious gift of Mother Nature. It has been given to us for celebration while we are here as the journey is really short. 

Humans are meant to live a life in cooperation with other fellow beings. We are here to help each other grow and prosper. This is how human conscience develops. This can be understood by the fact that if a person of a certain community or nationality gets hurt in a different country or city, the entire community feels unsafe and starts raising their voices against such incidents. This happens because of our conscience which is basically our unconscious need to belong to a particular community or society. This makes us feel safe.

As an individual also, we have a need to belong to our family, to our society. The very essence of life is to cooperate with our fellow beings and celebrate this precious gift of Mother Nature. 

Our mind is the key to the existence of human conscience. It is through this mind we feel stress or happiness in a particular situation. Our mind always wants some kind of security in everything and this is why we feel stress. And then when the mind realises that there is nobody in our life who can help us in a particular situation it starts panicking.

Security for the mind always comes from the outside world. Again, here I am talking about our conscious mind. For the unconscious mind, there is no stress. Consciously we all want family or friends with whom we can share whatever we are going through in life. We look forward to our people to help us. And this is again our basic need as a human being. But the way we have developed ourselves we fear sharing our problems with others. I find people rarely sharing or being vocal about their issues with friends or family. This is why life becomes stressful. 

So the first thing to maintain peace of mind if your life is stressful, is to start working on your conscious mind. The best practice I suggest is to start practicing silence for 40 mins everyday. Just sit in a comfortable position and do nothing. Just be. Practicing silence is a very strong method of maintaining peace of mind even in a very stressful situation. It will take you deeper into your being where there is peace, love and celebration. 

Secondly, be vocal about your emotions, express what you are going through in life. There is always a solution to a problem, but if you don't express yourself then there won't be a solution. If you are hurt, say I am hurt. Talk to your partner if you're having problems. If you feel trapped in a toxic relationship, take action to leave it. Take assistance from your friends, colleagues, and advisors if your career is having trouble. Make it a routine to deal with whatever is stressing you out.. Don't be static. You are beautiful and powerful both in every way. Mother Nature has given us everything that we need to make this life beautiful. 

So why to keep your life stressful. If life is stressful then deep down inside yourself you feel alone and that nobody is there to understand you. You are not able to acknowledge and express your own emotions. Life is beautiful when we acknowledge each and every emotion which we are going through in life.

Most of the time, we do not acknowledge what we are going through, we try to ignore our own emotions just to make others happy or sometimes we fear if others will know about them then what  they will think.

Can we imagine, we are choosing  suffering for ourselves just for the sake of others. Is this why you have given this life for? No life has been given to all of us to cooperate and celebrate with each other till the time we are here. Always remember, in this life nothing is permanent - not you, not even your happiness or unhappiness. Life keeps moving at its own pace, just tune in with the flow and see miracles happening in your life.
