Living With Purpose

In a world bustling with chaos and constant change, the pursuit of spiritual well-being has become more imperative than ever. There were profound discussions, led by the esteemed H.H. Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, Founder President of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti. He delved into the core of spiritual practices, offering insights that bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and contemporary living.

Navigating the depth of spirituality with Muni and exploring practices for guilt-free living and the art of making tough decisions was the sole purpose of this interaction. Muni spoke about how spirituality can become a daily practice without inducing guilt. He advocated the power of deep breathing, emphasising its role as a universal remedy for various ailments. According to him, short breaths signal toxic accumulation, leading to diseased bodies.

Coming to the part of what considerations should be made when facing tough decisions in life, he said that the key lies in prioritising peace of mind during decision-making. Practices like 'Anulom vilom' can aid in achieving this mental tranquilly, guiding individuals towards balanced and thoughtful choices. Summarising the key takeaways into four pillars: deep breathing, intuitive power, centralised speaking, and positive thinking, asserting their transformative impact on life, the conversation got even more interesting.

Responding to a query from the audience, he emphasised the diversity of people's meditation experiences. "Some delve into it swiftly and deeply, making the return challenging, while others take time," he stated. The crux, he suggested, is to follow proper ways and maintain discipline. He prescribed a holistic approach: 15 minutes for meditation, 15 for devotional song (Bhajan), and 15 for reading. This formula, he claimed, fosters a habitual focus on meditation with concentration.

The recent BW Wellbeing World's 'Festival of Spirituality' provided a platform for this address. In a world grappling with stress and uncertainty, his teachings serve as a compass, guiding individuals towards a purposeful life rooted in spirituality. Through the fusion of ancient practices and contemporary insights, he illuminates a path that not only enriches personal well-being but also contributes to a harmonious society.
