Breathing Exercises That Help Stress And Anxiety

With breathing exercise, one gets rid of many types of diseases along with getting relief. Along with this, there is a big role of breathing exercise in removing stress and anxiety. By doing breathing exercises, one can benefit spiritually, mentally and emotionally. It helps in many ways for the peace of mind and body as well.

Here are some types of breathing exercises:

Normal breathing

First of all arrange a mat to sit or lie down comfortably. You can keep your eyes open or closed. Exhale for a count of four. The nose should be used for inhaling and exhaling. Once you've mastered this, try 6-8 counts per breath.

Lion's breathing 

It is an effective breathing exercise. This is to reduce tension, relax the muscles of the face. This is best done while sitting comfortably, leaning forward and placing your hands on the floor or knees.

Deep breathing

Practice breathing first thing in the morning after getting out of bed. Your day will start well and peacefully. You can do this at any time of the day if you feel anxious or stressed.
