The capital witnessed a three-day event this weekend to support improvisation and growth of the world healthcare domain. It came in the form of the 3rd edition of "The Yogshala Expo 2018”, a Health and Wellness Exhibition organized by the Namo Gange Trust.
The Namo Gange Trust is a non-profit organization founded with a vision to serve diverse extensions of 'World Family' through dedicated services and activities.
The trust works for the upliftment of incapacitated, backward and rural communities through various activities and awareness programs related to health, wellness, education, and culture.
In comparison to the earlier editions, the Yogshala Expo 2018 had a footfall of nearly 25,000 to 30,000 visitors, 80-100 exhibitors and around 50 health & wellness activities including workshops, seminars, free health pavilion, live performances, spot paintings, and contests.
The Yogshala Expo is aiming to support world health and to create global acceptance for alternative, traditional and complementary medicines. There is a definitive trend towards promotion of methods beyond the scientifically based medical approaches.This expo had the full spectrum of 'Health & Wellness', and showcased various products and services allied to Yoga, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Unani, Siddha and Herbal with interesting new brands like Green Cure and Taaseer doing the rounds. With the content conscious tribe rising, people are returning to the roots and creating natural products with minimal or nil chemicals.
There were multiple sessions on Naturopathy Ayurveda and Yoga. The topics addressed included subjects such as Organic Farming, Organic Products, Food Supplements, Diet, Nutrition, Health Retreats, Spas, Hospitals, Labs, Academics, R & D Institutes, Bioenergy Products & Manufacturers, Bio-Medicine Producers, Medicinal Plants, Biological Clothing and other lifestyle products and services.
The expo was inaugurated by HH Shri Jagdish Ji Maharaj and HH Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji with Sandeep Marwah (Founder of Noida Film City), Vijay Sharma (Chairman of Namo Gange Trust), Krishna Raj (Minister of State, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare) and Anant Biradar (National President of INO) along with many political leaders in attendance.
The event witnessed enthusiastic visitors, health seekers, high profile companies, institutes, and organisations. The Ministry of AYUSH, Ministry of Culture, Gujrat Tourism, UP-AYUSH, and other ministries extended their support and cooperation to this Exhibition.
This expo was aimed at health seekers as well as industry enthusiastic to increase mass health awareness to the public, traders, companies and manufacturers to analyse the market situation by preparing the ground for selling products and services.
The chairman of Namo Gange Trust “Shri Vijay Sharma” appealed to the people to spread the awareness of health and wellness in masses to make our nation a healthy nation.
