Pyramidal Temple Of Health Of India’s Silicon Valley

In the southwestern suburbs of India’s Silicon Valley stands a tall pyramidal structure known as the ‘Sri Shivaratnapuri Temple of Health’, a symbol of healing of the mind and body, the pyramidal structure consists of three pyramids, one big and two small pyramids standing on a roof slab of a basement.

Also known as the ‘pyramidal temple’, the structure is situated in Rajarajeshwarinagar in the proximity of the famous Sri Jnanakshi Rajarajeshwari Temple on Mysore Road in Bangalore city. The pyramidal temple encompasses a day-care healthcare and wellness facility, with provision for different medicines under one roof.

The uniqueness of the three pyramidal shell-like structures is that they are concrete structures consisting of no form of metal whatsoever. The four walls of all three concrete pyramids are reinforced using FRP (Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer) imported from Russia. By using GFRP instead of metal, the weight of the pyramid has drastically reduced without any compromise on strength.

Spread over an area of just over 1 acre, three pyramids are built on the roof of a basement. Among them the tallest one is the main block while the other two smaller pyramids form the auxiliary blocks. The main block has seven floors, wherein the ground, first and second are dedicated to therapeutic medical facilities while the third, fourth and the fifth are foreseen only for yoga and meditation. The sixth is an access floor to the seventh and the seventh forms the floor of Grace.

From Allopathy, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Yoga and Meditation, the structure tries to cater to all the needs of the human mind and body with a central idea of moving people from ‘Medication to Meditation’, i.e reducing the dependence on medicines.

A brainchild of Sri Jayendra Puri Swami, the pontiff of Sri Kailash Ashrama Mahasamsthana, the mother institution for both the Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple and the Pyramidal Temple of Health, the pyramidal temple has been completed as a unit of Sri Raja Rajeshwari Charitable Hospital Trust. The construction of the structures started in 2009 and it was inaugurated in the month of April this year.

“I was intrigued by the Pyramids of Giza, and then I came across books such as ‘Pyramid Power’ and ‘The secret power of the Great Pyramid’. I learned that not only the Pyramids of Giza, but any pyramidal model built anywhere out of any material exhibits special powers,” said Sri Jayendra Puri Swami while speaking with BW Wellbeing World.

Sri Jayendra Puri Swami said that iron or any metal was deliberately left out of the construction process as they are conductors and disturb the natural cosmic energy. “The energy of the pyramid should be in an undisturbed state, that's why the non-metal option was chosen,” Sri Swamiji added.

Swamiji speaks of ‘mysterious powers’ in the pyramid. Swamiji mentioned that special behaviours of a tomato and a razor blade were witnessed when kept below a model pyramid made of stone or cardboard. The tomatoes kept in the pyramid remained undecayed for a longer time than the one outside the pyramid and the razor blade kept inside the pyramid got sharpened by this special and ‘mysterious power’.

The institution has signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with S-VYASA University, Jigni, Bengaluru, along with which tests using sophisticated instruments will be conducted to validate the said special powers.

The day-care healthcare facility currently has a fully functional dentistry unit, a naturopathy unit and a free allopathic dispensary with meditation and yoga on different floors of the pyramid. The facility also has other allopathic units like ophthalmology, orthopaedics, speech and hearing, ENT, Cardiology, physiotherapy, homeopathy, Siddha Vaidya and Counselling and Psychiatry in the pipeline which will begin in a phased manner.

“The pyramid does not disregard or discard any healing system be it allopathy or any other; our effort is only to move people away from unnecessary medication,” Swamiji said.
