The Power Of Gratitude: Unlocking Happiness And Well-being

Yoga is proof of the incredible strength of the human body and mind. The Bhagavad Gita's sacred wisdom teaches us that we have control over our thoughts, which may be either our best ally or worst enemy. In this way, it becomes clear that one's life's path is not predetermined but may be planned out according to our preferences. Our dreams can come true with only a little bit of mental training. This is where psychology may play a significant part.

The discipline of "Positive Psychology" was established around thirty years ago by a group of psychologists. The scientific study of feelings like thanksgiving, optimism, forgiving, happiness, compassion, and altruism was included in this. Psychology has mostly dealt up until this point with the diagnosis and treatment of problems including mental illness, trauma, addiction, and stress. Since the majority of information regarding human emotions had previously solely been concentrated on "negative psychology," this made the "Positivity" hypothesis in psychology a groundbreaking one.

It's believed that the power of gratitude may help people and communities flourish. When we radiate a good quality or feeling, such as thankfulness, optimism is in the air around us. When we have a positive mindset, we start to draw more optimism our way. This idea is based on the idea that we want our lives on earth to have purpose and to make us feel fulfilled. Being thankful is therefore recommended as a mantra in order to grow our best selves and improve our experiences of love, work, and play.

Positive power of Gratitude:

• Greater optimism and happiness

• Better physical, emotional, and social well-being

• Less stress, anxiety, sadness, and headaches

• Heightened spirituality enhancing the capacity to recognise something greater than ourselves

You might make little behavioural adjustments and form a few simple routines to cultivate this practise.

Develop the habit of thanking those you see during the day, including friends, co-workers, family, and other acquaintances. Don't just mouth the words in a meaningless way. Instead, speak only when you truly mean it and with sincerity. Keep a thankfulness diary to remind yourself of all the benefits you have. Fill it with pleasant coincidences and smile-inducing events. At the end of each day, take five minutes to write down everything that made you happy, including and especially the little things.
