Umang Foundation Trust To Organise Largest Mental Wellness Initiative To Spread Awareness

Umang Foundation Trust will be organising its annual charity initiative, "Butterfly- It's about Transformations", on October 16th at Hotel Suba International, Mumbai. The event is expected to bring light to therapy and resolutions to various mental health problems and to spread awareness about the necessity of being able to simply talk about it and not consider it taboo or stigma. This initiative is likely to be able to resolve issues with the help of certified practitioners, mental health professionals, and healing experts.

Being open to all for participation, Butterfly will get a total collection throughout the day that will be donated towards Umang Foundation Trust's initiatives. Apart from that, twelve mental health professionals will be guiding more than a hundred people to embark on their journey of mental, emotional, and physical wellness, all under one roof. This project is led by Aarti Asrani and Svetlana Almeida.

Anil Thomas, Founder and Trustee of Umang Foundation Trust said that mental health is not a luxurious commodity. It is not only our privilege, but it's also our access. It should be available freely, and it should be easily accessible because it's our privilege to maintain the hygiene and the sanity of our mental health. We believe in that, and that's why we want to make sure that this happens, he said.

The annual charity initiative is supported by Panadevi Sharma Charitable Trust, while, Dada Saheb Phalke Award Winners, Amit Khanna and Annkit Bhatia will be the chief guests.
