Addiction Cured On The Internet
Dr. Mohd. Shoaib Khan says the wonder drug he has invented, Detoxin, can cure any addiction, be it smoking, alcoholism or drug abuse. The method of administration of the medicine is as unique as the remedy itself. The medicine is transmitted to distant places via Internet and mobile phones.
When chatting with the doctor in the chat room or talking to him on his mobile, the sufferer will be asked to smoke a cigarette of his or her usual choice. Simultaneously, the doctor will transmit a medicine through the internet. By virtue of medicine transmission, that person will feel a milder taste of tobacco. As the doctor goes on increasing the potency of medicine, the taste of the cigarette will get milder and milder until the taste of the cigarette becomes null. At this stage, the doctor asks addicts to stop smoking and the potency of Detoxin that made the cigarette completely tasteless is sent to the person to have orally, through courier services. This medicine is to be taken orally for one day.
In case of drug addiction, people are asked to abstain from drugs till the onset of withdrawals. People are advised to log in to the chat room of any of his websites as and when withdrawals appear. The doctor then transmits Detoxin and by virtue of transmission, the person feels relief in his withdrawals. The doctor continues increasing the potency of the medicine until withdrawals are calmed down completely. Then the patients are asked to collect the medicine to have it orally.
In case addicts come to the clinic, the doctor asks them to smoke a cigarette of their choice of brand and puts phials of medicine on their right hand fingers. By virtue of the induction of Detoxin, addicts initially feel a mild sense of taste. The doctor keeps changing the potency till the taste of cigarette is nullified. Then he gives 10 to 12 doses to take orally. After taking medicines, neither addicts get any urge to smoke cigarette nor do they undergo any withdrawals. The medicine also compensates for the damages caused to body by intoxicants.
Dr. Khan explains the whole process thus: when a man takes any intoxicant, electromagnetic field of his body gets disturbed. The Detoxin restores electromagnetic field of his body to normal.
So what is Detoxin? He says it is a homoeopathic medicine but refuses to divulge the ingredients, though he promises, “I will make the ingredients public when I get a patent right for my drug for which I have applied.”
In the past 25 years since he has invented medicines and he claims to have treated about 25,000 persons addicted to various intoxicants, around 90 per cent of them successfully. Although the background and first steps to his discovery are shrouded in mystery, Dr. Khan states that, ”Since my child hood, I had planned to conduct research on cancer, and by the grace of God, I got success in curing 3 cancer patients successfully within my early 4 months of practice. One of them had been declared incurable by doctors at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Then I was inspired by two serials - Chunauti and Subah aired on DD, following which I started studying the phenomena of addiction and physiological actions of various herbs.
“I have written to the Health minister, Kiran bedi, Mother Teresa, Princess Diana Charles, Sunil Dutt, film actor and MP Shatrughan Sinha and other person engaged in so-called anti-addiction crusades, but to no avail.” Dr. Khan laments. However, he informed he has been invited by PRIDE INTERNATIONAL of USA and COMBAT INTERNATIONAL of Australia to join world drug conferences.
In 1997, his medicines were subjected to animal trials at the Dept. of Pharmacology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and the results were found encouraging. The head of the department of Pharmacology had recommended to the health ministry to grant him a sum of rupees one lac for further research. “But no money reached me till date”, says Dr. Khan. He claims his medicine has neither any side effects nor its own addiction. The medicine also produces aversion to intoxicants.
At present, Dr. Khan is running his clinic at Hauz Rani, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi and three to four patients come to him every day and occasionally none. His application for clinical trials is pending for about 24 years in the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy. He squarely blames the government for apathy towards effective treatment of addiction. Had the government patronised his campaign, the exercise would have done much to eradicate smoking, alcoholism and drug abuse.
Now the doctor is demanding his due, ”I want my medicine to be subjected to clinical trials and if found effective in eradication of addiction, it should be used in hospitals funded by the Government of India“, he concludes
