Artificial Intelligence (AI) Clubbed With Homeopathy

Dr. Batra’s ® Healthcare; the largest chain of homeopathic clinics in the world, brings for the first time in India the world’s first AI-powered device, AI Skin Pro for diagnosis in the treatment of skin diseases. Imported from South Korea, the machine is the world’s 5th generation AI-powered skin analyzer. It detects skin problems deep within the skin before they manifest themselves on the surface. It is a futuristic method of treating skin problems. Dr. Batra's® has combined a very unique proposition in conjunction with Homoeopathy which is holistic, safe and without side-effects. Describing the process, Dr. Batra said that, “It takes just a few seconds, you have to put your head in the machine like you take a photograph and there are a few laser cameras inside which capture your skin from all angles. The skin has 2 layers – dermis and epidermis. Through the machine you can find out where the pigmentation is, where the serum is, and where it goes. Your skin gets mapped and hence many problems of the skin which lie in the near future, is always what we get to know. It is measurable and hence very effective in nature.” He does not want it to be subjective and instead, objective. Detecting skin problems before they come is one of its benefits. A computer shows the percentage of pigmentation of the skin, and how it can be treated by this method of detection. 

They held a demonstration which showed the entire process clearly. It is customised and personalised completely and it is the first time they are using homeopathy, which is one of the newest sciences, with artificial technology. “Whenever there is a skin problem there will be redness and inflammation will be present. That is treated very well through this method of treating the skin which is the largest organ of our body. We give settling time for the skin after which the test is done so that we get a precise observation. In case of a lady who might be wearing make-up, the report can be altered. So, what we do is clean and wipe off the facial skin, remove the make-up and then work on their skin,” adds Dr. Batra.  

He also explains that, “Depending upon the patient’s skin condition we proceed further in a customised manner. There is an analysis and changes are visible after treatment, whether it is internal treatment needed or external treatment, or both. The skin is the most exposed part of our body. Hormonal changes also change the skin and even mental stress is seen as the skin is an indicator of mental stress. There are many ailments which due to stress are caused in a big way. We use 125 products in our company, and the research team identifies which 10 to 12 products can help in this regard. Then it is recommended. The IT team then works on the homeopathic treatment, aesthetic treatment and then the product treatment by linking them together. There is a lot of IT information also involved. This is specifically done by our company only.”  

Coming to a very important part regarding skin cancer detection, he says “I am not sure about skin cancer but one thing I am sure about is that in homeopathy we are actually using artificial intelligence as well as machine learning. For example, if after 3 to 5 years of using this data of a patient we can see through machine learning that we can analyse that and from that we can understand a problem before it completely occurs.”
