The word “Ayurveda” is derived from the Sanskrit words “Ayur”, meaning life, and “Veda”, meaning knowledge or science. 3. Kapha Dosha

Kapha Dosha is heavy, slow, cool, oily, smooth, and stable by nature. This governs structure, stability, and lubrication in the body. Kapha provides strength and support to tissues, and it is associated with emotional calmness and endurance. Excess Kapha may lead to conditions such as weight gain, lethargy, congestion, and respiratory issues.
