In Conversation With Ayush Aggarwal, Founder & Director, Rasayanam

1.Tell us about the company? How and when was the company incepted?

Rasayanam is a premium Ayurvedic supplement and natural foods brands striving to bring pure and effective products through combining modern science with traditional wisdom.

During my time in Canada, I realized while Ayurveda holds its roots in India, the quality of Ayurvedic products available in the west was much better and safety tested.

I found Ayurveda an interesting opportunity to explore my entrepreneurial dreams. I started work to launch a company that made Ayurveda products while also pursuing my full-time job, however, I quit two months later and returned to India. I was not very happy with the products which were being sold in India so I started doing my own market research, and even went to the Himalayas to explore the roots of Ayurveda. This led to the inception of Rasayanam in March 2021.

2. How is Rasayanam adopting technology to bring efficiency in the processes?

At Rasayanam, traditional knowledge of herbs and modern science go hand in hand. We leverage technology to improve the purification processes of our products which results in a more potent product and higher concentration of active components. A good example of that is our Product - Curcumin+ which is made using nanocurcumin extracted using nanotechnology.

3. What is the idea behind this venture?

To provide safe and effective health products that are tested for purity & safety. Home of pure ayurvedic health products, Rasayanam Ayurveda is a company with a singular vision of sourcing and supplying the highest quality herbal ayurvedic supplements attainable.

4. Details about the products/services please.

We offer products in 2 categories - 1) Ayurvedic supplements and 2) Superfoods.

The ayurvedic supplements product line comprises of Pure Shilajit, Ashwagandha KSM66, and other inhouse formulations - Sleep + , Testoboost, Curcumin+. In the superfoods category, we have pure saffron and Ajwa dates.

Rasayanam offers products with the following USP:

Transparent - Rasayanam believes that the customers deserve to know what has gone in the making of the product. They provide test reports with their products & COA are available upon request.

Innovation - While Ayurveda has been around for hundreds of years, there is limited research that has been done to increase effectiveness. Rasayanam conducts regular studies to optimize its products, so one can get the results they deserve.

5. How is Ayurveda spreading its reach and benefitting a lot of people?

I believe that since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, people have become a lot more conscious and aware of what they are consuming. This has led to a rising demand for organic & pure foods. Hence, I anticipate that this demand will continue to grow even after Covid has abated and so, Rasayanam is gearing up to serve that segment of the market in the near future. Nearly 70% of households in India have alteast 1 ayurvedic product and this number is rapidly growing. Ayurveda has the cure to all ailments and it has been around for thousands of years, that in itself reflects how effective it is.

6. What is the future plan of the company?

Overwhelming customer feedback has validated that the product are effective. So now we are moving to the growth phase, where we would like to reach as many people as possible. We are collaborating with doctors and premium ayurvedic stores around the country. On the product side, we are always looking to find new effective products as well as find ways through improving our current range of products.

Awareness is also very essential for our brand so we are continuously launching new content about the benefits, dosage, side effects , how to check the authenticity etc
