Please describe what Laiqa is all about

Catering to women's hygiene and wellness, Laiqa as a brand strives to promote sustainable and comfortable living. The brand's vision is to facilitate a movement that instills confidence in menstruators to talk about menstrual hygiene, health with a motive to break the taboo in the society. Ours is an endeavor to make the stigmatized topic of menstrual hygiene a normal discussion. Laying a greater emphasis on the ever-changing needs of women regarding their hygiene, Laiqa is devotedly innovating its products to maintain premium quality while consistently delivering on customer expectations. Today, we have a range of sanitary pads, panty liners, intimate wash, cramp relief roll-on, teas for hormonal health, and our newly launched menstrual cup.

How are "Laiqa Teas" helping women live healthy and good lives?

Laiqa Teas are more than just products, it is part science and a whole lot of research. At the behest of the meticulous efforts of my team, we conducted extensive research and surveys on ingredients and the health problems being faced by a menstruator during her period cycle. With our research, including the challenges of a menstruator, at the forefront, Laiqa came up with the four tea blends that have proven to be effective in catering to women's health needs like PCOS, PMS, Menopause and energy issues. Laiqa’s tea blends are a combination of ingredients with a proven history of effectiveness. My personal favorite is "Laiqa women's wellness tea" that I take every morning. It instantly makes me feel energetic and gives me a positive feeling.

What are the key features of the Laiqa Period Cup that help women to have an easy period?

Being a woman, the awareness of the challenges being faced by my fellow menstruators is what drives me to ensure our brand delivers the best quality products. And, the Laiqa Period Cup is a testimony to that. Our reusable Period Cup is made from 100 percent medical grade silicone which is shaped to perfection on the back of the German technology. Also, our product is overnight safe and does not include any form of dye, BPA, latex, plastic or toxic ingredients. We've also tested it for sensitive skin and it's designed to use & remove easily. More importantly, by using our Period Cup, women experience zero leakage, no rashes and odor, and unperturbed 12 hours of stain protection during periods.

How is the brand helping women and the environment through their products as the products are sustainable and environmentally friendly?

In our persistent efforts to normalize period talk, Laiqa, apart from offering a range of premium quality and eco-friendly products, also conducts menstrual health awareness sessions with various corporate houses, forums, schools and NGOs. We also have a social program called 'Buy One Box, Donate One Pad' that is aimed at our efforts to contribute towards the betterment of women and the environment. On the other hand, Laiqa as a brand also stands for Mindful practices that cater to the adverse environmental impact of menstrual practices. The brand chooses biodegradable products which are free from chemical, chlorine and are eco friendly. As an eco-conscious brand, we lay a greater emphasis on the packaging of our products to make them eco-friendly and sustainable. Laiqa innovates products that are not only good for her, but also good for the earth.

How is Laiqa different from any other women's menstrual hygiene and wellness brand?

At Laiqa, we are committed to introducing new innovative products and mindful practices which makes us the most responsible period care brand in the market. We have an OB team in place where our menstrual hygiene and wellness consultants directly interact with our consumers and build a connection. We have also launched our 'Period Pal' application that allows users to chat with gynecologists, mental wellness experts, and dieticians for free of cost. By doing so, Laiqa is enabling users to share their health issues and challenges in order to gain expert advice without any hesitation. Furthermore, the app also allows its users to track period cycle, ovulation cycle, period symptoms, and energy level.
