1) How is digitization impacting the wellbeing and healthcare industry as well as the well-being of the people?
Digital has fundamentally transformed many industries. Once vector of transformation is through personalisation of care and wellbeing using data. Also digital is helping to build personalised and experience-driven care journeys for everyone.
2) Tell us about Resolute and how it is different from other integrated digital health and wellness platforms?
The resolute mission is to unlock the health potential of everyone. Resolute is an integrated digital health & wellness service covering precision wellness, continuous virtual care, and digital therapeutics for families. Resolute offers hyper-personalized health and wellness journeys which is intuitive, always-on, holistic, and outcome-focused through the “Whole of Me” approach. Most of the platforms turn on the typical 3 levers for health - doctor consults, prescriptions and diagnostics. Resolute is the first integrated service that has both wellness and care journeys. It includes optimising nutrition levels, improving sleep and recovery, personalised workouts, stress regulation, pre-emptive follow-ups’, continuous health monitoring, etc
3) What are some of the biggest challenges you’re seeing in today’s digital wellness space, and what steps do you think industry players can take to overcome those?
The core issue is the lack of standards for interoperability for data and hence the data liquidity is very poor still in healthcare. It is an ecosystem issue and it is very positive that governments are stepping in to solve this to a greater extent.
4) What are the products and services offered by Resolute that give the “whole of me” approach to patrons?
We offer a full spectrum approach to health, including two core products - Precision wellness, a hyper-personalized wellness journey, and Active Care, a premium virtual care system that is always on and concierge-led. In the future, we are adding doctor-led programs including cholesterol optimisation, gut health, metabolic health, etc. which is our new digital therapeutics service line.
5) How can technology help increase care access and promote personalized care and health equity? How can wellness organizations ensure technology doesn’t lead to greater disparities?
Technology can really democratise healthcare access for all while personalisation can be achieved only through data. One way is to incorporate social determinants of health while building large-scale digital health solutions.
6) What is the data demand for such services and how they will evolve in the future?
Telemedicine has just started. It will involve a longitudinal care journey than acute interventions. Both consumer and clinician tools got to evolve to make this a reality. At Resolute, we are working towards building virtual care for the modern era.
7) Steps do you intend to take to make your business sustainable and long-term, amid a lot of competition and the challenge to create visible differentiation?
Our core proposition is based on health and wellbeing outcomes through evidence and science. Also, we are one of the few players where there is hyper personalisation for individuals. Most of the existing players pull any levers including medicine delivery, online consultation, or diagnostics, and not a construct like us where there is a real health journey.
8) What are the future plans for growth and expansion?
We want to work with millions of families as their well-being and care partners. We intend to become the cornerstone of the digital health ecosystem by demonstrating financial and health outcomes for the ecosystem. We are setting our trajectory towards that.
