Sonali Dubey's journey with well-being began during her formative years. Her family comes from a defense background and she has always experienced a disproportionate focus on fitness and discipline. When she entered the corporate world, she focused extensively on work and soon enough had a rude awakening to the need to re-think about her health. This was 5 years ago and since then she has expanded her horizons to read and practice physical, mental and spiritual well-being. She is a propagator of balance in her circle of influence and at Pernod Ricard, she had the opportunity to design & implement policies around work life balance and mental health. According to her in India, “work life balance is for the weak” – is the kind of toxic work culture we live in. Her mission is to help people move away from this thinking. In the long term, if teams start speaking about well-being on a day-to-day basis and take their health into account while discussing project timelines, she would be extremely happy. The future for her is in the space of Inclusion and she sees herself as a propagator of inclusive thought, health and technology.
