Ujaas Promotes Menstrual Health At TATA Marathon

In a significant move to raise awareness about menstrual health, Ujaas, an initiative by Aditya Birla Education Trust, actively participated in the 5.6-kilometer Dream Run at the TATA Marathon. The initiative was led by participation in the Marathon run, with the enthusiastic involvement of over 300 employees from the Aditya Birla Group and Aditya Birla Education Trust, highlighting their shared commitment to the cause. The event emphasized the importance of accurate knowledge for menstrual health and hygiene management as fundamental right rather than a luxury. By bringing together a diverse group, Ujaas aimed to stress that menstrual health is a crucial aspect of women's well-being, deserving widespread attention. The event also received support from 100+ student volunteers representing various colleges in Mumbai, showcasing a heartening demonstration of solidarity.

The Dream Run at TATA Marathon served as a potent platform to shatter myths and challenge societal norms. Ujaas, through engaging slogans, endeavoured to educate participants and spectators alike, aiming to dismantle the prevailing stigma surrounding menstrual health.

Speaking on the occasion Advaitesha Birla Founder Ujaas, said “Ujaas participating in TATA Marathon is a powerful stride towards breaking barriers, creating awareness, and challenging societal norms surrounding menstrual health. At Ujaas, we believe it's every girl and women’s right to understand how to manage menstrual health and be aware of safe and hygienic products for effective care.  Our collective run, supported by the incredible spirit of Aditya Birla Group and Aditya Birla Education Trust employees, as well as the dedication of over 100 student volunteers, sends a resounding message — it's time to break the silence, educate, and end the stigma surrounding menstrual health. Together, we run not just for a finish line, but for a future where every woman’s health is celebrated, understood, and empowered."
