5 No-time Tips To Bust Stress During A Busy Work Day

So how does one identify one’s vibrational level at any moment? The answer in one word is “Mindfulness”. No surprise why this is becoming a catchword in today’s stress-filled world! Now you wonder, doesn’t mindfulness have to do with meditation and stuff like that, for which you really have no time? And I’d say, how about I give you 5 ways to get mindful so that you can bust stress without taking out time? Sounds like a bargain? Here we go!

1. Get Centered and Grounded

This is where you sit on a chair with your soles flat on the ground and spine vertical. Place your palms flat on the table, spread away from the body. Imagine five roots growing down to the center of the earth; one from your tailbone and four from each palm and foot. Visualize sucking up energy from the earth through all five roots for 30 seconds. You can do this sitting anywhere in the office, or even in a room where you are having a meeting. Just let someone else do the talking and half a minute later, the next thing you find yourself saying will come out with a different vibration!

Remember how the Emperors of ancient India and China had thrones that were designed to keep them similarly grounded? This is why!

2. Breathing away Overwhelm

“Belly Breathing” is an equally short 30-second process that oxygenates you better and calms you down at the same time. Drop everything for 30 seconds and simply follow your breath. Fill your lungs, push the diaphragm down and expand the belly. Push the belly in and expel the air from the lungs. Repeat 3 times slowly, keeping a track of the belly. In three full breaths, or 30 seconds, you’ll find yourself in a state of calm, refocused.

Do this after every project or every hour and you will stay energized until late at night. You can even combine this with the previous biohack.

3. Drinking Mindfully

This is great to get rid of the anxiety. Take 30 to 60 seconds to drink half a glass of water. Feel the texture of the water on your tongue. Feel it pass down the gullet, until you can even feel a little coolness in your stomach lining. Genuinely thank each part of the digestive system for serving you.

This helps energy flow down your central channel which creates internal happiness, and holds you together energetically – quite the way your digestive track holds you physically.

4. Channel Stretching

To boost your vibrations right from the start of your day, spend 2-3 minutes “channel stretching” after you wake up and before you get out of bed. What you do is, you breath in and stretch your palms and fingers out. Also stretch your soles and toes out. Then you breath out and contract all of that inwards. Do this rhythmically, loosely and gently with several breathing cycles.

You’ll find yourself in awareness of getting fresher and fresher as you stretch the ends of your energy channel system. You can even do it during the day. Obviously, it’s easier without shoes!

5. Shaking like a Leaf

You may want to get into the privacy of a washroom and imagine yourself standing like a tree encountering winds from every direction. Loosen up and allow the wind to pass through every part of your body, quite the way it would breeze through tree leaves. Shake all parts of your body – fingers, elbows, shoulders, neck, eyes, vertebrae, hips, knees and even toes – as though the breeze was passing through them. Regain composure in a few seconds when it feels right. Put on your brightest smile and get back to work.

This is an ultimate relaxer in under twenty seconds. While you move your energy anatomy doing this, imagine letting go of stored tensions and you will actually carry the effects over!
