"Getting insights and data about one’s body and habits has always been a crucial aspect of maintaining health and improving performance. This part has now become increasingly accurate, reliable and cheap because of the advancement of wearable technologies," Ramesh said.
While Shaikh said, "The widespread use of wearable fitness gadgets is one of the key ways that fitness technology has changed people's health in 2022. Individuals can track their physical activity, sleep habits, and other health parameters in real-time with gadgets like smartwatches and fitness trackers. These gadgets have made it possible for consumers to make more informed decisions about their fitness and health goals by giving them access to actionable data."
With the developing technology and growing online facilities, people may remain health concious in the coming years ahead as every tip and training cam be available at one's fingertips.
Ramesh said, "There have also been a lot of tech advancements in commercial and home fitness equipment where the intervention of tech and AI has made it easier for individuals to workout on their own through real time feedback on posture and exercise making it possible for individuals to get a good, effective workout even without the presence of a trainer. This is another vertical where there is a lot of potential and promise for advancements."
Shaikh anticipated that fitness technology will advance in 2023 and offer even more cutting-edge options for monitoring and enhancing health. A larger emphasis may be placed on using artificial intelligence and machine learning, for instance, to tailor fitness advice and goals for individuals based on their own requirements and interests. Additionally, there might be a greater focus on employing wearable technology and other digital health technologies to monitor and manage chronic health diseases like diabetes or heart disease.
