The launch event at The Tea Room by Blossom Kochhar was a celebration of wellness, attended by industry experts, influencers, and skincare enthusiasts. Guests engaged directly with Dr. Kochhar, participated in a live Q&A session, and enjoyed personalised consultations.
“In today’s world, where synthetic solutions and instant results dominate the skincare industry, I wanted to return to something authentic and timeless,” shared Dr. Blossom Kochhar during the launch event. She also stated that, “This book is my ode to our rich Indian heritage and its natural skincare secrets. Through simple yet effective practices and easily accessible ingredients, I hope to empower everyone to find their unique glow—naturally and holistically.”
She also said that the essence of the book is DIY (Do It Yourself) and went on to say that when the pandemic had gripped the world, there were no cosmetics available. Then her brand started telling people on social media how to use their cosmetics. “Minerals, vitamins and all about the skin is mentioned in the book. It is about body, mind and soul along with emotions – aligning the body, mind and soul.” She described how essential oils which are holistic and organic have wonderful effects. “I would like to tell the youth of today to use organic products. Some products which have chemicals do not have the real effect,” she added.
Talking about her journey she mentioned that, “When I was growing up we had fresh flowers and vegetables, there were no cosmetics available. So I used to indulge in making cosmetics. I never tried it on animals and did not harm anyone. When you use these products and essential oils it is not only working on the outer part of you. They are good for mental health and when you are feeling low. Rose and sandalwood help in distressing. The books is all about beauty and positive emotions.” The book helps discover the fusion of Indian traditions and modern skincare in a new book for effortless and radiant beauty. This much-anticipated fifth book by Dr. Kochhar is poised to revolutionise how individuals approach their daily skincare routines by blending traditional Indian practices with modern skincare science.
