Pollution has started increasing in Delhi NCR even before Diwali. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) recently said that the capital's Air Quality Index (AQI) in Anand Vihar is at 383, which falls in the severe category.
Due to increasing pollution, people are suffering from various types of respiratory diseases, some hospitals in Delhi have already started receiving patients of this problem. Delhi's air quality is expected to worsen in the coming days. In such a situation, the number of patients can increase even more.
Doctors told that people are having problems of asthma and bronchitis, allergies and trouble in breathing while sleeping at night. They say that many types of viruses and bacteria become active in this season. Due to these, infection occurs in the upper respiratory tract, which leads to problems of allergies, asthma and brochitis.
Bronchitis and Asthama happen due to infection in the respiratory tract, although this problem is seen more after Diwali, but due to increasing pollution, such cases are still being seen. Children also have problems like asthma that also causes severe pneumonia in them. In such a situation, it is necessary that people who already have respiratory diseases should protect themselves. Other people also need to take care of their health.
People must wear warm clothes in the morning and evening to get protected from cold wind. Also, wearing a mask when going out of the house is a good precaution to keep away from dust, fumes and pollution.
