These Superfoods Help Reducing Blood Sugar Levels

The problem of sugar has become so common that nowadays every other person is in the grip of it. To control high sugar level, one has to make changes in lifestyle and diet.

The sugar level of a normal person should be less than 140 after 2 hours of eating food. On the other hand, if the person has not eaten anything, then his sugar level should be 100. There are some superfoods that can control the sugar level if included in the diet.

Pulse and beans: The group of lentils, chickpeas etc is called legumes. A lot of fiber is found in them for which, it helps in reducing blood sugar levels. 

Whole grains: These include oats, quinoa, whole wheat, etc. Consuming them helps a lot in reducing the increased sugar level as they contain lots of fibre.

Curd/Yogurt: It is helpful in reducing high blood sugar levels, that' why sugar patients are suggested to include it in their diet. It is suggested to eat fermented food rich in probiotics to reduce the sugar level. Curd is a very good option for this. 

Nuts: Eating dry fruits helps in controlling high blood sugar as .any types of nutrients are found in nuts. Therefore, it must be included in the diet.
