Indian author, columnist and yoga acharya Ira Trivedi Celebrity believes that yoga is imperative for everyone, children included.
She strongly recommends suryanamaskars for children.
She practices yoga every single day. "I meditate, do Pranayam and breathing exercise no matter what, as it gives me good health and keeps me in perfect shape," she shared with BW Wellbeingworld.
She recommends to those, who have not yet begin their yoga journey to begin today, on International Yoga Day.
Trivedi says, "It is beneficial for your mental and physical well-being. Even 10-15 minutes of yoga every day is advantageous for the body."
Stressing that, "Yoga is the best form of exercise because it provides a full body workout. It not only helps your muscles but it also directly affects the internal organs. On a physiological level, it helps your nervous system and balances your hormones."
She shared that, "Personally, yoga has completely transformed my life. It has not only given me a body that I love but also a life that I love."
Ira believes that although Yoga is an ancient science that ancient yogis brought to the world, it has so many modern practices and application to help today’s generation who face critical issues in body and mind.
Highlighting today's urban stresses she said, "It helps in improved blood circulation, better digestion and calms your mind – improving the body and mind. It is very important for people today. Especially for people working at corporates who have a very stressful and tiring routine."
